Mike Tyson on Broadway
Former boxing heavyweight champion Mike Tyson will be bringing his raw and unfiltered life story to the Broadway stage in “Undisputed Truth“. Tyson known for his epic battles in the ring that include biting a piece of Evander Holyfield’s ear and once threatening to eat the children of heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis, will be doing a one man show at the Longacre Theatre for a 12 performance run, July 31 – August 12.
Bryant Park Summer Film Festival 2012
Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the Bryant Park Summer Film Festival has an excellent line up of classic movies that can be seen on the big screen in the park every Monday through August 20. Part of a great New York City summer tradition, all films are free for the public so grab your blanket, pack some snacks and head out to Bryant Park.
New York City Street Fairs in July

New York City Restaurant Week
New York City Restaurant Week is back for another summer of delicious cuisine. The event will run from July 16 to August 10. Now’s the time to enjoy some of the city’s finest restaurants at a discount price. Over 300 participating restaurants will be offering either a three-course lunch for $24.07 and/or three-course dinners for $35. Restaurant Week is a great time to try out new restaurants and to take advantage of world class dining on a budget. New York City Beaches
New York City has plenty to offer throughout the entire year and in summer there are a number of beaches that provide a ton of summer fun, from The Bronx to Staten Island. Each beach has its own personality that makes it special to NYC. Surfing, Concerts and Amusement parks are some of the things that you expect to find at New York City beaches.
Williamsburg Park Concert 2012
The Williamsburg Waterfront is no longer home to the the Open Space Alliance (OSA) summer concert series. They now have a new home Williamsburg Park, that has the makings of another great outdoor concert venue for New York City. The 2012 concert line up keep’s getting better and currently includes, Jane’s Addiction, Sublime with Rome, Cypress Hill, Cake, and My Morning Jacket.
