Le Casse-Noix Moderne – The Modern Nutcracker
Composer and arranger Mike Gagliardo and choreographer Linze Rickles McRae, have collaborated on this modern day version of the “The Nutcracker”. The famous holiday classic has been remade and encompasses every form of popular music from the 1920′s to the present time.
Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater Comes to New York City Center
For many years, the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater has put on a set of holiday performances in New York City. This year, the newly renovated New York City Center will be host to the Alvin Ailey Dance Company for 5 weeks. The star-studded opening night gala will take place on November 30th and will be hosted by the First Lady Michelle Obama.
