US Open Practice Sessions

The US Open Tennis Tournament is just around the corner and if you would like to watch the players practice, you can do so before the event officially starts.

August 28th will be practice day.

For more information about what players will be practicing where, you’ll have go to an American Express booth at Flushing Meadows. Gates open at 10am.  If it’s the same location as previous years, one of these booths should be somewhere between Louis Armstrong stadium and Arthur Ashe. You can get a free headset if you present your AmEx card. If you don’t know your way around the grounds, be sure to check out the US Open venue map.

Most practice courts are surrounded by full height chain link fences with limited bleacher seats for viewing so get there early, if you want a good seat. The practice sessions are FREE.

The Tournament runs from August 29- September 11th.

Subway: Take the #7 Train Flushing subway from either Times Square or Grand Central to the Shea Stadium / Willets Point Station.
