2012 Columbus Day Parade in New York City

The 68th Annual NYC Columbus Day Parade will take place on Monday, October 8. The parade which has been organized in New York since 1929 is the world’s largest celebration of Italian-American culture. The event which will be televised globally includes, 35,000 marchers with over 100 groups, including bands, floats and contingents. Nearly one million spectators are expected. This year, the parade route begins on Fifth Avenue at 44th Street, and continues north along Fifth Avenue to 72nd Street.

Fashion Week 2012 Kick Off

Fashion’s Night Out was a spectacular night of glitz, glamour and fun! New York City fashionistas were truly in their glory as they took to the streets with their own unique style and swagger. There were many moments throughout the night when I thought, this is why “I Love New York”. Uninhibited style being rocked at the highest level. The streets of SOHO were filled with hundreds of people that were trying to get a glimpse of any celebrity that appeared on the scene and the Meat Packing district was the ultimate party zone.
