There are a number of shows that are taped in New York City and being a part of the live studio audience is always entertaining. Most of the shows are Free to attend but, it takes a little persistence and patience to get in.
One of the toughest tickets to get because of extremely long wait times and the longshot lottery is Saturday Night Live. SNL accept’s requests for tickets in the month of August only and to do so you must send an email to snltickets@nbcuni.com with all your contact details. Stand-by tickets are distributed at 7am on the 49th st. side of 30 Rockefeller Plaza on the mornings of the tapings. You may choose a stand-by ticket for either the 8pm dress rehearsal or the 11:30pm live taping. Aside from minimal, necessary breaks, all stand-by line members must remain in line at all times. There are no guarantees on getting a ticket in both situations.
