Tony and Emmy Award winner Cynthia Nixon will star in Margaret Edson’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play WIT, on Broadway in January. Nixon, popularly known as Miranda from HBO’s Sex and the City, will be playing Vivian Bearing, an exacting poetry professor who undergoes experimental treatment for cancer. A scholar who devoted her life to academia, she must now face the irony and injustice of becoming the subject of research.
