Museum Mile in New York City

One of the many featured attractions for New Yorkers and visitors alike in New York City, are the great Museums. In a one mile stretch on Fifth Avenue from 82nd to 105th streets, officially known as “Museum Mile”, you can find 10 of the most diverse and cultural museums that include, The Metropolitan Museum Of Art, Goethe-Institut, Guggenheim Museum, Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, The Jewish Museum, The Africa Center, El Museo Del Barrio, Museum Of The City Of New York, National Academy Museum And School Of Fine Arts, And The Neue Galerie New York.

On Tuesday June 14, from 6-9 pm, the 42nd Annual Museum Mile festival will welcome thousands of visitors from around the world in celebration of New York museums. This block party on Fifth avenue will include free admission to the museums along with musical and artistic entertainment for children and adults.
