Big Time City Your Ultimate Guide to the City!
The Big Apple Barbecue Block Party will celebrate their 10th anniversary this year and from June 9-10, meat lovers from all over the city will flock to Madison Square Park for the annual event. Some of the nation’s top pit masters will be in attendance along with chef’s from local spots that include, Hill Country, Dinosaur Bar-B-Que and Blue Smoke.
The Big Apple Barbecue Block Party offers a selection of different barbecue styles and items, from pulled pork sandwiches, to ribs, sausage, and brisket, alongside Southern sides and desserts. To wash all the meat down, they will have a Beer Garden within the park.
Admission to the event is free, you can purchase barbecue for $8 per plate at each pitmaster’s rigs.
