Starting this Thursday, McCarren Park Field House and Herbert Von King Park in Brooklyn, Astoria Park in Queens, Lower East Side’s, Tompkins Square Park in Manhattan, and Clove Lakes Park in Staten Island will offer free Wifi service throughout the park
According to the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation website, “New Yorkers will be able to stay connected with their smartphones, tablets, and other Wi-Fi enabled devices as they enjoy everything City parks, big and small, have to offer. AT&T Wi-Fi at City parks is free for all users.”
Connecting to an At & T wireless hot spot is pretty straight forward. Simply find the network name “attwifi” on your devive and click connect. No username and password required.
