US OPEN Tennis Tournament

Every year, New York City opens it doors to Tennis fans from all over the world by hosting the US OPEN Tennis Tournament. The tournament will take place this year from August 28 – September 10, 2017. The 2016 singles men’s champion was Stan Wawrinka from Switzerland (1st title) and the women’s single’s champion was Angelique Kerber from Germany (1st title).

Tickets for the 2017 tournament can be purchased on the official site US Open site.

It is advised that you take public transportation to the event due to the amount of people that the tournament attracts.

Subway: Take the #7 Train Flushing subway from either Times Square or Grand Central to the Shea Stadium / Willets Point Station.
