Hugh Jackman Back on Broadway

Tony Award-winner Hugh Jackman is making his return to the Broadway stage in “Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway”. Jackman will be backed by an 18 piece orchestra and will be performing a personal selection of his favorite musical numbers that reflect on the stage and film star’s remarkable life and career, from The Boy from Oz to Hollywood.

The show will run from October 25, 2011 to January 1. Tickets are now on sale and start at $95.

When asked about his return to the stage the Australian Jackman responded:

“I can’t believe it’s been 7 years since I was singing and dancing on Broadway there is nothing like performing on the Great White Way and I’m so excited to be coming ‘home.”

 

Hugh Jackman, gained international recognition for his roles in Kate & Leopold, Van Helsing, The Prestige, Australia, and his biggest role to date in the series X-Men as the character Wolverine.
