Fondue Restaurants in New York City

A great Swiss and French tradition that uses a communal pot to dip and share, meat, cheese, bread and fruit is better known as Fondue. Fondue, pronounced [fahn-DOO] is derived from the French word “fondre” which means “melt”.

There’s nothing better than breaking bread and dipping it into hot steaming Gruyere or Emmenthaler cheese, taking beef cubes and dipping them in hot oil then topping then with a nice sauce, and my favorite, taking fresh fruit and dunking them into a hot melted pot of chocolate. Sounds Delicious!
