The 14th annual New York Chocolate Show will take place, November 10 – 13. Founded in 1997 by Sylvie Douce and François Jeantet, two French entrepreneurs with a great passion for chocolate, The Chocolate Show was quickly adopted by New York City as one of its favorite shows, and has become the largest and one of the most popular events devoted to chocolate in the United States.
Learn about the history of chocolate, different “styles” of chocolate, chocolate etiquette, demonstrations on how to make it, and of course, yummy chocolate tastings.
The show will be held at the Metropolitan Pavilion and will feature book signings by award-winning authors, cooking demonstrations in two culinary theatres featuring renowned chocolatiers and pastry chefs who will share secrets of the trade. This event will have a Kids Zone that will be dedicated to fun-filled activities for young chocolate lovers.
Prior to the event, there will be a Chocolate Fashion Show, presented by Lincoln, that will be held at the Metropolitan Pavilion’s Metropolitan Suite. The show will feature haute couture chocolate designs and accessories created by teams of renowned fashion designers, pastry chefs and chocolatiers with proceeds of the benefits going to Groove With Me. Tickets to the fashion show are $150.
