The NYC Easter Parade is a festive event that is a little different than most parades in the city. There are no floats or marching bands but, plenty of spectacle’s that are sure to grab your attention. People from all around the world come to join in this midtown Manhattan celebration that includes, Easter bonnets, costumed pets and wacky outfits that look like they would belong to someone in a circus sideshow.
The Easter parade takes place between 49th street – 57th streets on Fifth Avenue, near St. Patrick’s Cathedral. The entire area is closed of to vehicular traffic while participants and visitors roam freely.
