Our friends to the north in Canada put on a top notch Jazz festival in Montreal each year and this years line up as always sure to impress. Some of the artists include; Steel Pulse, Sade, Florence K, Bootsy Collins, the Roots, Blue Rodeo, Men Without Hats, Dave Holland, Kenny Barron, Jolly Boys, Hugh Masakela, Ron Sexsmith and Peter Frampton.
The Montreal Jazz Festival which is in it’s 32nd edition will run from June 25 through July 4. If you’ve never been to Montreal, get ready to have fun! It’s a 5 hour ride by car from New York City. There are tour packages that will offer you everything you need from tickets to accommodations.
There’s a Jazz Fest Pre-Opening Concert with Robert Plant’s Band of Joy that you wont want to miss if you are a fan of the Led Zeppelin lead singer.
