Steve Jobs is one of the most genius, innovative, and visionary people of all time. His commitment to creating products that would change the way that we communicate was truly evolutionary. The Apple co-founder and CEO lost his battle to pancreatic Cancer on October 5, 2011.
Gone but not forgotten, there have been numerous memorials around the world in celebration of Jobs. Apple’s flagship store on fifth avenue in New York City has been a place where many people have come to remember Steve. There are hundreds of Post-it notes and apples that line the outside of the store with messages and memories dedicated to Steve Jobs.
Jobs was clearly the driver of Apple’s success, and his passing feels like the end of an era but, with his new creation, the iPhone 4S coming out one day after his passing, his memory and much more will live on.
Thank you Steve!
