The largest East Coast waterfront festival returns for its 28th year on October 15 – 16, serving up a mixture of activities and entertainment that the entire family can enjoy.
The event which originated as a hometown parade honoring Theodore Roosevelt has evolved into one of the largest festivals on Long Island that attracts over 200,000 visitors. The Oyster Festival includes, tall ships, live entertainment, top-notch artisans, pirate shows, midway rides, and iconic oyster eating and shucking contests. The Oyster Festival is an alcohol free event.
